8th aug - ndp in school. i'm the main snare WOOHOO!! =) must practice my rolling some more cause right now it sucks.


9th aug - national day n most prob family time. PHEW.

and that's not the end of it. hell.
ytd was my first ever rod. heheh. finally arh.





so it started on 8th aug. and i'm playing for the ndp as main snare. of cause i cocked up and i thought i might have shot myself cause i DEF can play so much bttr. ah well. so i reached sch arnd 6.40 plus and i saw yx, ziyu, steph and yipin doing some stuff dwn at the foyer. wrapping presents and they got such nice wrapping paper!!! ah, steph, i shld have asked for some lahhs. =P walked up to bnd room and saw nobody that i rlly noe that well in there so i went to change. then we sort of had a voice guessing game in the toilet. LOLLS. then qy suddenly pop out of nowhere and said "HI VAL!"



YAY. then did some running arnd and then went dwn to warm up. some sch ppl there. oh yah, they were playing some nice songs early in the morning so it was nice. -.-" then blahblahblah FF to start of parade. by then i was feeling rlly hot in the bnd uni and i was just doing some basic warm up. then started and then i was trying to make sure i can rmb all the commands so i know when to play what.



HELLO YOU VIP SO WHAT DOES THAT MEAN YOU CANNOT COME EARLY OR IF YOU WOULD BE LATE MAYBE BY A LITTLE BIT ALMOST TEN TO TWENTY MINUTES WE WAIT FOR YOU YOU THINK YOU VERY BIG AH I THINK ONLY SOMEONE HAS SHOWN SO MUCH INSOLENCE WHEN THE PRESIDENT NVR SING NATIONAL ANTHEM BUT THATS ANOTHER THING HELLO.



and just when i was thinking that lucky the BIG commander never zao siah, he did on his last command. alamak, i feel so bad for him lah. work so hard and still kena the whole sch laugh. luckily he laughed too. =P but i was so glad once the thing was finally over.



then we did some lame stuff like standing on benches and singing songs and playing the fanfare for our drum and band major. =D rlly very happy seeing them receive their awards. PROUD. =) then we just got super high and acted stupid larh. wanfen sang perhaps love with sin hua playing on the piano. SO NICEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! =) and so was the RHCP song. that band is somuch better than our senior bands. JUST DO A COVER NEXT TIME GUYS.



thn i was like so unwilling to change out of my uni larh. =P we had photo taking i guess. took such a long time that it was boring me out already. finally we took the picture and i stood next to dina and some junior that i dunnoe. HMMS. anyway i smiled bigbig for the camera [omg i sound like jay. YIKES.] then we had to fall in and we had the passing out parade. i marched to foo and got the award and then started laughing. IT WAS TOO FUNNY ALR. XD cannot control yah. but i thought it was nice to see lavi shaking hand with amelia for such a long time and jazz and angela 'tweezing' their fingers. =) how 'gandong' ORH!!! [means touching in CHINESE.]



after that, we went up to the band room and steph and i were dying from hunger - the buffet right in front. ARGH. stomach was rumblinng like mad thanks to the sun, the heat and the black boots absorbing the rays and burning my toes. YOWCH. very super painful. after that, i got roses! one only larh, but its red. WOW. i feel so honoured. even though i think this might damage the environment by plucking fresh flowers; the smell kinds of puts me off or that some days i'm not a flower-person. WELL, this time is an exception.



then it was FRENZY TIME!!! =) all the seniors were going round giving presents to each other and the juniors to their seniors. what a great thing.

[me pauses to think and since its abt 2 mths since this happens and i last read this blog post i can hardly rmb anyth. DAMN.]

well - i just want to thank my jrs elise and wei jie for the present and their wishes cause i rlly appreciate it and LOLLS, elise you look great today! =) to all the other jrs, gd luck to u in band. work hard all of you. JIA YOU. =D

eng oral was a semi disaster i think. the topic was PREDICTABLE but tough to talk about. sadly i don't practice what to say when a storm hits me or smtg. BLEAH. whatever. i did my best and the teacher said good so i hope she sticks to her word rlly.



well, many thngs happened so far but i just want to talk abt a few thngs.

1. GESSIANS cant say pledge.
enough said rlly. im dead disappointed. and we call ourselves singaporeans? i mean, this year is probably the first that i heard so many diff renditions of the pledge. what are they playing at? SET THE NXT WORLD RECORD FOR THE MOST NUMBER OF PUPILS WHO CANT SAY THE PLEDGE PROPERLY? hahaha. -.-" anyway, this rlly reminds me of the girl in the campus superstar [who thankfully didn't make it very far. PHEW.] when she auditioned the judges spoke to her in english as she said she doesn't know how to speak chinese. so the judgese asked her, "ni shi shen me ren?" [meaning in a way, where do you come from] and she said " xing jia po ren" [meaning i'm a singaporean.] WALAO. singaporean but dunno how to speak chinese. TSKTSKTSKTSKTSK. =P

2. be yourself day - who ARE YOU rlly?
lets just face it. none of us are ourselves when we wear those clothes. it is just an act anyway but it's a good act if you can go on newspapers. BAH, i think there are so much thngs bttr to do. it's just a gd chance for the girls to dress up and the guys to 'dress up' [as though this is RLLY INTERESTING] and ogle at the 'BABES'. -.-"

3. watched ratatouille [rat - ta - too - ee]
GOSH ITS RLLY FANTABULOUS. YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT. ALL PIXAR FILMS ARE GREAT AS THEY HAVE SUCH SHARP SENSE OF HUMOUR AND THEY DO RLLY GREAT ANIMATIONS AND REMY IS HILARIOUS! PIXAR DID TOY STORY, THE INCREDIBLES AND FINDING NEMO, FYI. THOSE WHO LOVE TO EAT, LOVE TO WATCH ANIMATIONS AND CARTOONS WILL LOVE THIS ONE. IT IS RLLY WORTH 5 STARS AND MORE. TRUST ME. =)

4. had a great day
yah i supposed im rlly very easily satisfied as after having subway and walking arnd in suntec and watching ratatouille and giving my teacher's day presents to my teachers, i feel like the happiest person on earth. i think i was practically bouncing or SKIPPING, to be politically correct. -.-"

7. more music stuff
thnks to jazz and DEF jyn, i found out abt pure volume and ANBERLIN! their great! and cartel and all time low are great too. i miss the used and their songs, but i heard frm jyn that new ones by them are out! YIPEE. and i 're-discovered' oasis and the gallagher brothers [spelt it right? hmms.] 30 seconds from mars are alright but a little weird. i am a sucker for rock bands, i think. WAHAHA. =D
