graduating from gan eng seng is a good thing. leaving my friends is not a good thing. -.-" so naturally i want to thank 2g'05 and 4g'07 and gessband for all the wonderful memories and experiences. some events i won't forget would be 'be yourself day', 'sports fiesta' and our sports days at clementi stadium, SYF'05 and '07, 'teacher's day' and ACTUALLY all those days that we had half-days and all sorts of celebrations; our grad day [and night to come], numerous chalets/outings/excursions, balloon hat festival [which we went on the newspaper for] and my very first and LAST concert with gessband - KALEIDOSCOPE'06, numerous band exchanges and yada yada yada. =)

should have taken more pics during all the special occasions. -.-" OH WELLS. at least i've got our class and band photos for keeps. =) so, thank you all for making my 4 yrs in ganengseng feel like a breeze and definitely my close friends for listening to me and my various feeble attempts in being a funnier person. HAHA. =)

also to all the teachers who have taught me before. =) and those who have inspired me. YAH. =) and my uncle for tutoring me in math for a while. =)

what's the big deal about grad night?

some call it prom night [prom stands for promotion?] and others, just THE PROM [YIKES. =P] anyway, in s'pore we dun rlly have this renown sysytem of guys asking girls out on this special DATE. [special emphasis put on larger-sized words ;) ] and i want to thank the ever-brillant, ever-nice, ever-funny, sometimes-RANDOM jyn for inspiring me to write this post.

why must girls wear dresses or skirts and contacts and put on makeup and put on jewellry or bling? [NOPE, im not exactly a tomboy nor a professional detractor of the word 'PROM'. -.-"] so anyway - what's the hype? i don't actually FEEL the hype. YAH. isn't our grad night held at some place called 'holiday inn' or smth? [the name sounds kind of FUNNY if you ask me.] isn't it some ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT-BUFFET where you sit down at a table talking to 9 different people?

DONT tell me there is house music or some DJ from ZOUK is going to play? -.-"


WHY put on BLING? so you can literally 'outshine' your friends?
WHY wear dresses? so in case you eat too much, the bulge is not so easily seen?
WHY put contacts? cause you think that without specs you will look MORE like a million bucks?
WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY? >.<

SERIOUSLY, i want to boycott this grad night and turn up in smth casual. its even better if the theme is 'formal' [which is what everybody is aiming for and im half-expecting someone to appear in a Versace gown or smth.] i want to be different. NOPE, not outstanding but more of a 'HECK CARE' person. anybody willing to support me? =)

OKAYY, we'll see how this goes.
