newsworthy.

things i have done in the past month or so that i find WORTHY of mentioning:

1. had singapore zam zam [indian-muslim food restaurant featured on news paper as they were giving away free briyani. YUMS. =]

to know how long this took place, in short, I HAD THE BRIYANI BEFORE ADAM LEVINE EVEN HAD HIS FOOT ONTO OUR SUNNY SOIL. [-.-"]

2. i watched a movie and had popcorn and nachos.

and which i promptly spilled the cheese onto my uniform. i guess i could be CLUMSIER THAN THAT some other days. or BLUR, to put it simply. oh yes; i watched 'RUN, FAT BOY RUN'. it's a Brit comedy in which this guy who is OBVIOUSLY A DOWNRIGHT LOSER, leaves his pregnant wife at the altar and then 5 years later - realises he wants her back.

of course, this happens when she starts dating this HANDSOME AND TALL AND RATHER FIT AND WEALTHY AMERICAN. everything the Brit is NOT. [wonder if this is more of a 'mockedy'? how strange.] and the way he decides to win her back? by running a marathon. something which he cant actually manage especially since chasing a man in drag [who runs PRETTY SLOWLY btw] can be pretty tough for him. i mean, HE ENDS UP SOUNDING LIKE AN ASTHMATIC.

ah wells. from then onwards, laughter ensues and what can we really expect frm a poor Brit who is vulgar and violent and thinks that teaching his son how to make funny fart sounds is educational? YOU GET THE IDEA. but the comedy is really predictable, although the cast saves the entire show. the incredible and MOST UNLIKELY TRIO actually make the show rather enjoyable.

just put an INDIAN, a sore loser and the helpless Brit together and you get a winning formula. =) the rest you can find out about it for yourself when you go and catch it. HAHA.

3. quit guitar and joined mentoring and had an interview and GOT IN.

hmms, i still must be faithful to my dream though. to pick up the guitar and thrash it out someday as a GUITAR HERO. MUAHAHAHAHAHHA. =D but dont worry; i WILL.

4. went for rhapsody concert

wasnt half that bad that i thought it would be. mainly its a gathering with old mates and seniors. =) also had alot of hugs around and DAMN IT IM SO PROUD OF GESSBAND AND OF COURSE THE PERCUSSIONISTS!!! i want to say, a very good job done by MARCUS of PERCUSSIONISTS [lest SOME PEOPLE think its the saxist. =P ]

i think you guys really have potential - if only you dont slack so much and goof around. [editor's note: i SAW THAT. i SAW THE GOOFING AROUND. even WE used to goof around but we were PRODUCTIVE. you know.]

pictures and vids will be up soon. im intending to upload ALL my vids onto YOUTUBEE [ah, my best friend] one day during the holiday. =) AWESOMES. you guys wait for it. pictures will be uploaded SOON.

I HOPE. ;)

5. almost kena-ed robbed. NO KIDDING.

it's just that simple. i went home after the concert and realised that naveen was taking the same train as me. we walked home together since we stay quite near each other. went up the lift with an auntie [dont recognise her] and a young couple. got home at abt ten plus. my dad was playing with his MAC. so i went to my room to take out my GP stuff to do cuz i got an assignment to hand in by MIDNIGHT.

next thng i knew, my dad wasnt in front of his MAC, the main door was open, my auntie/domestic helper was standing at the corridor and there was a commotion. it was just a cacophony of voices and lots of yelling. i thought someone was trying to commit suicide. [oops, but always thought smth like that might just happen.]

i didnt dare go out to take a look cause CURIOUSITY KILLS THE CAT [im the cat, okay.] and if it was some brawl, i didnt want to get involved in it or risk having my head smashed.

THAT WAS EXAGGERATED FOR PURE AMUSEMENT. =P

so i just resumed working on my unfinished assignment [DEADLINES!!! ONCE YOU CROSS THEM, YOU'RE DEAD!!!] and only learned of the truth when my dad came back, perspiring like a madman. he said a lady got robbed by some Chinese man and he fled. my dad apparently CHASED AFTER HIM.

WAH, MY HERO. =O

therefore, i have to conclude that i have been EXTREMELY LUCKY. seriously. i only got into my house for around 5 mins before the incident happened. it could have been ME in the lift. interesting thing was that the lady went up the lift with 3 other people - 2 onlookers and the attacker/robber. the 2 onlookers got out at different levels and they left the robber and his victim inside. so for this incident, there would be 2 witnesses. there is comfort at the thought of that. =)

robbing process probably went like this: man whips out pen knife once lift door closes. woman probably yelps [ER, she's 50, FYI] and trembles with fear. man slashes woman with pen knife on her neck and her arms AND grabs her valuables. flees when lift door opens.

poor lady, could have lost her life. i must admit she was very brave to scream for help after the robber fled. some cant do it cause they would have been in shock. if it were ME [CHOY CHOY] i would be stunned and rooted to the ground. ARGH.

makes me think twice about how i used to think that my neighbourhood was a relatively safe place. now, i constantly fear of being attacked. =( so everytime i approach the lift or exit the lift, i always keep a lookout for my surroundings and pay LOADS of attention to suspicious people.

WATCH OUT; I GOT MY EYES ON YOU.

6. passed NAPFA. [say heng.]

wow, with much luck, i got through standing broad jump, although barely. that earned me an E though and it's not exactly my idea of a good jump. [I. CANT. JUMP.] always get A for sit-ups so no biggie, once again. the rest i scored Ds. YUCKS. i could have gotten a C for the run had i grown longer legs and flew 16s faster.

NEXT YEAR IM GONNA DO BETTER. THIS YEAR, I JUST COULDNT CARE LESS. =P

7. SOMEONE LOVES JOEY ZEHR TOO!!!!! =D

well, DUH. just realised my classmate [= LEAH!!! =D ] was from st joseph's GIRLS [didnt know the school exist lah] and straightaway i asked; 'is that the school which THE CLICK FIVE went to?' and before i knew it, i found another TC5 fan - BONUS IS THAT SHE LIKES JOEY. [I SOOOOOO AGREE.] and she has bought tickets to their concert already.

thinking of going - esp since i saw the ad. I MISS JOEY MANNN. =P but HAMSTER wants to get them later. oh, c'mon - earlier is always a safer bet. ;)

aite; til later.
