and i was watching GOKUSEN season 1 as well. it's this jap drama abt a mafia/gangster/mob's granddaughter who lost her parents since young. she wants to fulfill her parents wishes and become a teacher. however, she is assigned the worst class in the level. but, with much determination and perserverance, she strives to change her class for the better and one by one, the students in her class understand her efforts and make the change.

1) CHRONICLES OF NARNIA; PRINCE CASPIAN.






love the eye candy. =P ben barnes is really a gd looker but sadly, his acting chops are nowhere near the mark. he's got an accent in the film and im unsure what it is - LATIN/MEXICAN/CUBAN? william mosley is easy on the eyes as well but - same with the acting. [unfrotunately, he's dating his Narnia co-star, anna popplewell.] rlly pales in comparison. i say KUDOS to georgie henley for her innocent yet realistic potrayal of LUCY pevensie. she's rlly ADORABLE. ;)




the story is somewhat a continuation frm the first installment. a year has passed for the Pevensie siblings, but not in Narnia, where around a thousand years has passed. The evil King Miraz has taken charge of Narnia but with the help of a heroic mouse called Reepicheep, and the exiled heir to the throne, Prince Caspian, they set out to overthrow the King, once again with Aslan's help.

2) NORTHERN LIGHTS.


pretty good book and the film adaptation was good too. but i always prefer the book version more. words bring your mind to a whole new level and you get room for imagination. watching the movie first kinds of stifle that. it taught me a lot. like HOW NOT TO JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER. i kind of do that often. =/

so - go read the book. i cant wait to get my hands on the next 2 once school starts. ;)



WHICH REMINDS ME THAT I HAVENT BEEN STUDYING FOR THE PAST 2 DAYS. argh. this is what happens when you live in delusion and assume that one FINE day, you will turn into a very accomplished and HIGHLY popular lead singer of a rock band.

3) mentoring camp. [nt exactly the highlight of the week.]

4) GOOD MUSIC.

- incubus: they were here this year; if i wasnt wrong. it's not too late to like them really. and when i wasnt a MUSIC GURU yet, i used to confuse them with RHCP. sorry FANS. =O

- the HOOSIERS [yes, i love them] >>> theatrically good and their songs are a tad whimsical. very MOI. ;) englishmen are queer.

- laura marling: she's STRANGE. [all english PEEPS are.]

5) shopping and MOPE-ing.

bought 3 hairbands and a pair of skinnies frm LEVI'S at killer prices. ;)

as for the latter point; SIGH. i shall continue to distract myself until one day i decide to stop avoiding the problem and face it. then, hopefully, it will be less painful and as time erodes the pain, i shall be able to overcome the HURT.
