and yet another year goes by.

22/10/08 was a very good day.

in fact, its excellent.

close to perfection.

amazing.

AWESOME. :D

i've never understood why people always want to hear the good news before the bad news - i see no logic in it. isnt the good news suppose to cheer you up after you have had a bad time listening to all that depressing stuff?

apparently, majority of the people dont think that way. so let's begin with my own prerogative - BAD NEWS:

1) cut long story short >>> i opened up a plastic bag to take a donut for breakfast and a lizard jumps onto my hand.

I OFFICIALLY HATE LIZARDS NOW.

2) i bit into a spoilt chicken pie and [OF COURSE!] spat it out.

3) i screwed up OP. [heng only dry run; HAHAHA] :P

4) there was not enough sweets to go round the class when i passed them around. =/

5) jinger went home because she was sick. :(

and now [drumroll pls and banging on sch tables]: GOOD NEWS FOR THE DAY OF 2210 !

1) huayshan gave me a rlly useful present which i think i will use asap. but for now, i am very contented to have it in the box cause im afraid i might spoil it and then i will get very mad at myself. i think its a practical present - because no one needs so/TOO many soft toys strewn around their bedroom. :P

2) i got lots of wishes via sms and i wld like to thank all who did so. =)

3) OH OH OH - i caught the earlier train to school today and i didnt have to rush to school! ;) i could stroll at a leisurely pace and still reach sch just in time.

4) i got wished 'happy birthday' by my OCIP mates - val xie, dawn and john.

5) i went for a toilet break after my OP [which was so - ARGH !] and when i ca

me back, i just thought the class was really quiet [strange]. i thought they were all waiting for the next group to set up the powerpoint slides. just when i was rummaging through my bag for the sweets, somebody said smtg [!?!] and the whole of 08S14 sang 'happy birthday' for me. honestly caught by surprise and the first thng that i thought of was how i wanted to stuff my

head into my bag cause i was just DEAD embarassed. merv thought i was so touched and gna cry but - NO !

i mean, YES i'm touched but i was just flustered. :P

6) i gave everyone [well, almost!] sweets that i bought frm the jap store at tiong [selection help frm dearest GIANT] and they all enjoyed it. :D

7) mrs new [PW teacher] wished me a happy birthday ! =)

8) went to the pop cafe cause i was hungry but not before we FINALLY binded our 'BABY OF THE YEAR' - WR into 3 stacks and said goodbye to no more editing, worrying over grammar and inappropriate sentence structures; YADA YADA.

9) rach-san and xinyi/BOSS surprised me with 2 scoops of ice cream [mango and yam - YUM!] on a delicious waffle with choc fudge on it. and there were candles spelling out the words - HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

zomg. i almost died of embarassment. :P

they sang me a happy birthday song again and then we took 4 TABLES [record number!] and joined them together and sat around it like a happy family. i got jessie's present which i was totally blown away by. it was ths notebook that had our pictures in it, but printed on small little cards - she even wrote a story about ME. [!!! !!! !!!] :D

totally awesome. i laughed at all the unglam shots. thanks jkhor ! ;)

i shared the waffle ice cream with the rest of the gang and opened dawn's present. for a moment i thought the handphone holder was KON frm bleach, but it was just a lion. thanks anws, i like YORANGE alot - HAHA. :D

but my favourite is - YUN HO'S PICTURE [that was stuck at the bottom of the box - LOL] !!!!! :D hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

10) cam-whored using the candles. we spelt out words like PHD, RIP [thats the best!], HIPPY, HYPR, DT [dawn tang], PATD, TAI [the academy is - LOL], RAH, et cetera. totally burnt the candles until they were disfigured; cant even see which alphabet it is! used almost half the box of matchsticks thnks to SOMEBODY who cldnt strike matches well, HAHA. :P

11) met hamster after chinese mock at vivo. dawn took the MRT with me til dhoby gaut cause she had to go for badminton training. thanks for your company, tomodachi-san ! :D

she was at the banquet [foodcourt] and she hadnt eaten. but she gave me my present first and i was speechless because firstly, IT WAS HUGE and secondly -

AW MAN. BEST BEST BEST BEST BEST PRESENT EVER !!!!! !!!!! !!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

then she got her yong tau foo and i got a bowl of mushroom soup that cost quite abit and had freaking lots of pepper POURED [not exaggerating] into it. i think extra cheese cannot cover the spiciness.

12) impromptu movie watching - BURN AFTER READING. ;)

brad pitt was hilarious, john malkovich was utterly vulgar and george clooney was not as good as i expected. =/ in fact, i like frances mcdormand the best because she was rather convincing. i think the moral of the story is DONT FIRE ANYONE JUST BECAUSE OF HIS DRINKING PROBLEM. thats a lousy excuse in the first place; HAHA. beforewarned though, loads of vulgarities in this one. in fact, they say it like they say the word - 'I'. tsk.

synopsis: CIA agent writes memoir after being fired and the disk containing his works is left in a gym and a guy name CHAD [brad pitt] discovers it and >>> poof, we're off on a road trip.

and my IC got checked twice [once at the ticketing counter and the 2nd time at the entrance]. i mean, is it THE VERY LEAST OBVIOUS when im wearing my JUNIOR COLLEGE uniform and OOPS, i forgot to mention that i was celebrating my >>>

SEVENTEENTH [!!!!!]

- birthday or am i so short and juvenile-looking that i cannot pass through the checkpoints?

AH YOU TELL ME YOU TELL ME ?! :O

anws, anyone with a sense of humour and sharp ears should watch this movie. not guaranteed that you will love it and the storyline is confusing, but its sort of like a parody - in terms of poking fun at men who are suppose to be intelligent and rationale.

13) finally ate popcorn and had a good day.
