am feeling ambitious today.

well the first week went by quite fast and it was part disaster, part wake up call to remind me how cruel reality is pertaining to the fact that, INDEED, academics and meritocracy is highly regarded in sunny island here. and the second week zoomed by quite fast too.

SHIT - WHY HAVENT I GOTTEN MY HANDBOOK YET ?!? >:( [must rmb to remind mrs wee abt it.]

ah, which leads me to my first topic: now that i have only 5 subjects to study for [OF WHICH NONE OF THEM ARE EASY PEASY/CHICKEN FEET], i only have 5 teachers and - 2 of them did not change >>> econs is still the mad hatter who is rather humourous, yet on the edge of heavy sarcasm. chem was SUPPOSEDLY going to change but apparently its sme big lie - MATH teacher got changed instead to this very pretty, VERY TALL, kinda SKINNY female teacher named ms ong. our bio teacher is MS WONG [not me since i suck at it] who has abt the same teaching experience as mr marcus chan >>> only we all agree that HE IS A MUCH BETTER TEACHER ! :(

:D so i have 4 female teachers and only one male teacher. i think this year would be a "GOOD TEACHERS" year. ;)

all my MSAs are over except for econs which im most likely going to mug for since its only on one topic. GAMBARIMASU ! :O i failed bio [TERRIBLY IS NOT EVEN THE APPROPRIATE WORD] and passed math [BARELY] and maybe will get some meagre grade for chem. im certain my compo will do badly cause i didnt understand what i was writing and compre - GAH ! i was hoping it would save me but i did not complete one very important part of the question.

overall = BAD. :(

cca is becoming a chore since i want to make changes to the system but the teacher is too rigid and too in control for me to put in my two cents worth. not that i even think that she regards it at all, but i want to try. i mean - im a student leader for some reason right ? welfare of others, leading others, responsibility ? [...] it sounds so surreal DAMN IT. :( :( :(

sometimes she can be so particular over nitty gritty details which i suppose i need to handle and should not complain/whine/make a big fuss about. but simple things that we are most likely able to do by ourselves can be turned into an uphill task by her. ARGH.

1. BOUGHT THEM TICKETS FOR 5/3/09 !!!!! :D

well, technically not me [HOHOHO HAMIE !!! :P ] and BOY ! I HAVENT SAID THIS IN SUCH A LONG TIME ALREADY ! :D i thought i lost all my memories of moshpits and music gigs and blahblahblah but i guess im regaining my memory. alot of things excite me abt this particular GIG.

this gig that i saved up for. this gig that i have been waiting for. this gig by my fave musician in the UNIVERSE. this gig that has tickets that sell like hotcakes. this gig that i almost couldnt go to because of some bloody online booking system that baffles ordinary common folk like us.

anws - i am very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very HAPPY. :D

2. ILJIMAE

my channel U korean drama ended alr and the ending sucks cause if the lead died then it would be so much better. the king should also have died cause he deserved to and he almost seemed a little like Macbeth [hallucinations, paranoia, distrust, etc.] because of similar symptoms when high status men commit heinous crimes. but i still like the show; even my brother likes it too. ;)

it may seem that im violent and sadistic but smetimes a successful ending can be bad/sad because then it would just go to show that there aren't happy endings in reality and i like being realistic. :P

3. ponyo [on the cliff, by the sea]

watched it on 20th jan with darling lollipop girl/Jose, mrs yaotome and myself. gen couldn't make it cause her BF was sick again ! :( kind of sad cause i think gen wanted to watch it too. i thought the movie was nice cause its all very FANTASY-ish and heart-warming and the animation is similar to that of "spirited away" [which i havent watched] and "HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE" [which i absolutely loved and hikaru-san lent the jap version to me to watch]. its by the production company called Studio Ghibli. ;)

storyline>>> small little fish princess escapes from the sea, gets caught by a little boy who showers love and care on her. the fish princess yearns to be a human so as to be with the little boy. rach-san was right; it's kinda like the jap remake of "the little mermaid" only i think this one is quite special and has its unique points. ;) STRONGLY ENCOURAGE.

i want to watch "milk" and "rachel getting married" but i dont meet the age limit thngy. :( and there are many movies i havent watched yet but i have no time to do so. :( :( :( :( :(

5. CNY celebrations

as usual, we had a concert but this year we have this homerm deco thngy. i thought it was quite fun, considering how we improvised the plan pretty quickly. i like the exterior of our classrm more though. the door has been turned into a cow's mouth. :P and guess what ? we actually won the 2nd prize for best deco class ! :D [tidbits again (-.-") ] it must have been the clever idea of trading our chips. thats how we got that many votes. :P

some guy frm guitar ensemb sang "i'm yours". ARGH. i dont want to keep hearing it leh. and he kept forgetting his lyrics and stumbling over his lines. i thought them lyrics are quite easy to remember ? but he has an okay voice and he can play the guitar so he is by far better than me in terms of overall star quality HAHA. :P and hearing the band play their pieces makes me regret not joining SA band. :( i may not have been the best percussionist but i wouldnt give up on trying and working hard.

I WONT GIVE UP BEING A PERCUSSIONIST. :)

6. shopping

very productive day today and i think i got some gd and cheap buys which makes me feel even better. but im always worrying abt quantity and cost cause i feel guilty spending. so i shortened today's shopping time. :P i think far east rlly has some gd deals. OH YEAH ! the hair salon that i used to go to when i was a kid and when far east wasnt renovated yet is still thr ! :D some things dont change, i suppose. ;)

my mum met her sec sch friend who was with this angmoh/USA guy WHO TOWERED OVER ME and was very friendly. he shook my hand, said "ni hao" to me and asked me if i started receiving them red envelopes yet. i was too shy and embarassed to say anything so i just kept quiet and smiled and shook/nodded my head. (-.-")

apparently he has 3 daughters and they all waer at least SIZE TEN shoes. and they are just slightly shorter than him which is about 6 feet plus which is MOST PROBABLY ABOVE 1.75M or smtg. like we all dunno that them europeans are like trees. :O when we said goodbye, he said "gong hei fa choy" [or GONG XI FA CAI in cantonese] to me and advised me to shop less so that my parents can put more money in my ang pow. :P

I LIKE HIM ! HE IS SO NICE AND FRIENDLY ! :D it makes me happy.

ok i need my bed now.

PS: too lazy to do colour today. go do it yourself.
